A Month of Reparations

Today we have entered into June, the Month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. If anyone is interested in joining me, I would like to make June a month of prayer, penance and reparation to the Sacred Heart, especially wounded for our offenses. One reparation and intention for each week:

1: In reparation for the harms done against the indigenous of our country in light of recent news. For conversion, healing and discernment moving forward.

2: In reparation for the scandals performed by all those that bend the knee to anti-Catholic morality esp. In this month widely dedicated to sexual immorality. For Catholics with SSA, that we may find ways to welcome them wholeheartedly and assist them to follow Christ in chastity.

3: In reparation for the victims of sexual, physical, spiritual and emotional abuse, especially those who have been victimized by clergy. For the victims and their families, that they may find healing and justice.

4: In reparation for widespread liturgical abuse, those who water down teaching, politicize the pulpit or who questionably administer the sacraments. For good priests, may they be encouraged and blessed. For bad priests, that they would be brought to repentance.

5: In reparation for the victims of abortion, the Church in China, the persecuted Christians, for the poor, widows, orphans, the sick and those suffering from isolation. May the Lord have mercy on us and help us to stand up for those in our midst who have no voice.

O Jesus meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto thine!
